Terms and Conditions

1. General

1.1 The following terms and conditions ("the Terms and Conditions") are valid between you ("You/Customer") and Polar Music International Aktiebolag, corp. id. no. 556132-4343, Box 55777, 114 83 Stockholm ("Polar Music") and apply to all use of and orders placed on Polar Music's offers. Polar Music is a subsidiary company to Universal Music AB, corp. id. no. 556024-9566, Banérgatan 16, 115 23 Stockholm Sweden.

1.2 Orders can only be placed by persons that are 18 years or older. Polar Music reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. The date of the latest update is found at the top of the Terms and Conditions.

1.3 The Customer is responsible for keeping themselves updated with any changes in the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions are accessible to everyone and included on the website of Polar Music. Upon request, we will send You a written copy.

1.4 By placing an order You agree with the delivery and payment conditions. Polar Music reserves the right to change its delivery and/or payment conditions after the expiry of the term of the offer.

1.5 Polar Music guarantees that the delivered product complies with the agreement and meets the specifications stated in the offer.

2. Delivery

2.1 Delivery takes place while stocks last.

2.2 Orders placed before 2:00 PM (CET) on weekdays are usually dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM are typically shipped the following business day. Delivery times vary by destination — for example, 1–3 business days within Sweden, Denmark and Finland, 2–4 business days to Norway, 1–4 business days across Europe, and 2–5 business days to the United Kingdom and North America. Polar Music will agree on a delivery period of a maximum of 30 days. If the agreed delivery period is exceeded for whatever reason, the Customer has the right to dissolve the agreement and any payments made will be refunded to the Customer within 30 days.

2.3 The Customer shall be liable for payment of any VAT, taxes or other levies attributable to the purchase that may be imposed on the Customer regarding the order. For orders to Norway, UMG Shop is registered under the VOEC scheme and Norwegian VAT is included in the purchase price for eligible items. For orders above the VOEC threshold or items excluded from the scheme, standard import procedures apply.

2.4 All terms stated on the website are indicative. No rights can therefore be derived from the aforementioned periods.

3. Prices

3.1 Prices will not be increased within the term of the offer, unless legal measures make this necessary or if the manufacturer implements interim price increases.

3.2 All prices on the site are subject to printing and typing errors. No liability is accepted for the consequences of printing and typing errors.

3.3 All prices on the site are in SEK, DKK, NOK or EUR depending on the customer's location and include applicable VAT.

4. Trial Period / Right of Withdrawal

In the event of a Customer purchase, in accordance with the Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (2005:59), the Customer has the right to return (part of) the delivered goods within a period of 14 working days without giving any reason. This period starts when the ordered goods are delivered to the Customer. If the Customer has not returned the delivered goods to Polar Music after this period, the purchase is a fact.

Before proceeding with the return, the Customer is obliged to notify Polar Music in writing within the period of 14 working days after delivery. The Customer must prove that the delivered goods have been returned on time, for example by means of proof of postal delivery. The goods must be returned in the original packaging (including accessories and associated documentation) and in new condition.

If the goods have been used, encumbered or damaged in any way by the customer, the right to dissolution within the meaning of this paragraph will lapse. With due observance of the provisions of the previous sentence, Polar Music will ensure that the full purchase price is refunded to the Customer within 30 days of proper receipt of the return. Returning the delivered goods is entirely at the expense and risk of the customer.

5. Data Management

If You place an order with Polar Music, your details will be included in Polar Music's customer database. 6. Cookies

Polar Music's website uses cookies and other tracking technologies to distinguish You from other users of our website. This helps Polar Music to provide You with a good experience when You browse Polar Music's website and also allows us to improve the website. 7. Warranty

Polar Music guarantees that the products it supplies meet the requirements of usability, reliability and lifespan as reasonably intended by the parties to the purchase agreement, and thus guarantees the manufacturer's warranty of the product delivered to You.

8. Offers

8.1 Quotations are without obligation, unless stated otherwise in the quotation.

8.2 Upon acceptance of a non-binding offer by the Customer, Polar Music reserves the right to revoke or deviate from the offer within a period of 3 working days after receipt of that acceptance.

8.3 Verbal commitments are only binding for Polar Music after they have been expressly confirmed in writing.

9. Agreement

9.1 An agreement between Polar Music and a customer is concluded after an order has been confirmed in writing to the consumer by Polar Music.

9.2 Polar Music reserves the right not to accept orders or assignments without stating reasons or to accept them only on the condition that the shipment takes place cash on delivery or after payment in advance.

10. Pictures and Specifications

All images; photos, drawings, etc.; e.g. data regarding weights, dimensions, colours, images of labels, etc. on the websites of Polar Music are only approximate, are indicative and cannot give rise to compensation or dissolution of the agreement.

11. Force Majeure

11.1 Polar Music is not liable if and insofar as its obligations cannot be fulfilled as a result of force majeure.

11.2 Force majeure is understood to mean any foreign cause, as well as any circumstance, which should not reasonably be at its risk. Delay or default by our suppliers, transportation difficulties, strikes, government action, delays in supply, negligence of suppliers and/or manufacturers of Polar Music, as well as of auxiliary persons, illness of personnel, defects in auxiliary or means of transport are expressly regarded as force majeure.

11.3 In the event of force majeure, Polar Music reserves the right to suspend its obligations and is also entitled to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part, or to demand that the content of the agreement be amended in such a way that execution remains possible. Under no circumstances is Polar Music obliged to pay any fine or compensation.

12. Assignment

Polar Music reserves the right to assign or pledge to third parties any claim(s) for payment which have arisen in connection with the delivery of goods.

13. Severance

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is disallowed or found to be ineffective by any court or regulator, the other Terms and Conditions shall continue to apply.

14. Applicable Law / Competent Court

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the internal laws of Sweden. All disputes arising out of the rights and obligations in the Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to ordinary court proceedings, and the parties accept the Stockholm District Court as their exclusive legal venue under the Agreement. Please also note that You can also file possible claims against Polar Music before the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
